I grew up in a traditional Guatemalan & Mexican home. My parents both immigrated to the U.S when they were approximately 13 years old. As a first-generation U.S born citizen, I often struggled feeling stuck between three worlds. To add to that I learned early on in my life that I was different from my classmates. At first, I didn’t know what I was experiencing and it was a scary and confusing time for me. I eventually learned that I identified as Gay.
Unfortunately, most of what I heard about being Gay was negative. My parents are also very religious and were not accepting of my sexuality. It took years of self-discovery, therapy, and growth before I was able to live in a way that feels authentic to me. Today I continue to learn about myself and now identify as a queer individual. My experiences have fueled my passion for supporting others in their journey of self-discovery and helping them manifest the lives they want! As a mental health professional, I don’t only provide therapy, I am also an advocate, creator, and entrepreneur.
My passions include mental health, education, fashion, art, creativity, photography, public speaking, building community, and entrepreneurship.
I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my partner of 12 years and our two fur babies.
